British Columbia Postal History. Trio of BC Coastal Steamship markings 1911 / 1914 / 1951 on postcards. These seldom offered postmarks were applied on the steamships that sailed the BC coast, servicing the small communities along the way. Included is 1911 "Vancouver-Prince Rupert RPO, Stn Prince George" oval on postcard, the second is 1914 "Van-P.R. R.O.P. Str Prince George" (note, this cancel features the "ROP" error, which should have read "RPO"). Lastly is a 1951 "SS Prince George" large CDS cancel postcard (this was the service to Alaska).
