Modern Meticulously Mounted Machin Madness (and other definitive issues). There was enormous cost to the collector to assemble this collection (face value of the mint alone was £796.60 = C$1417.95) and we didn’t have the heart to break it up, so offering it intact for a seldom seen chance to acquire such a diverse holding. Coverage from the mid-1990’s up to 2023 with a significant effort made to get a mint and used example of each stamp. This is the high-value era, and regular changes in postal rates/services, perforation/die-cutting, colours, printing methods meant that many of these issues didn’t hang around for long or were missed by collectors at the time. Plus, there are a number of souvenir sheets and panes of "Classic" designs or issues that combined definitives and commemoratives. The collector has done you a favour by adding handwritten notes with both Stanley Gibbons and Scott numbers along with issue dates and distinctive features. The mint are in black mounts and the pages fill a "Senator" Stanely Gibbons springback binder. Conservatively estimated 2024 Scott catalogue value US$6000.00 = $8,100.00 CDN.
