A very thorough run of used issues from 1973-1999 mounted on quadrilled pages. Includes lots of miniature and souvenir sheets along with the great topical issues this island is known for (e.g. motor sports, ships, animals, birds, British history). The collection is roughly chronologically mounted (annotated with Stanley Gibbons and Scott numbers), but at some point, spaces were filled with random issues, or items were mounted by topic, which throws the organization of the collection off a bit. A few of the souvenir sheets are loose in between the pages. The majority appear to have originated philatelically with post office pictorial cancellations. Not surprising as postally used material is so much harder to find than mint. This collector had a matching collection of mint issues and in a few cases, mint and used were mounted on the same page. Where this has occurred, we have kept that page with the mint portion. This doesn’t affect too many stamps but does leave the occasional unexpected hole. Substantial original cost.
