Great Britain

A great box of Great Britain. The balance of a consignment, with material from a wide range of sources, this 3/4 filled bankers box has a wide assortment of mint and used material from the Victorian period up to about 1980. The older material is on an assortment of album pages and dealer cards including some of the higher catalogue material from the mid-19th century (we did see a battered Penny Black). A bit more mint material appears in the KGV through the Elizabethan era. And besides the "usual suspects" we saw some post office training overprints and overseas offices overprints. There is some philatelic material (e.g. presentation packs, PHQ cards and a few 1960’s First Day Covers). A lot with hidden value throughout, which these pictures will have a hard time to do it justice. Estimate =
