Pre-decimal used collection on black pages in a black binder. Includes a couple of attractive 6d imperforate "Chalons", a nice page of "Sidefaces", 1898 Pictorials up to the 2/- Milford Sound, King Edward VII, a range of King George V issues including a nice 3/- Admiral with a non-parcel postal cancel. Issues become hit or miss up to 1966. For the pre-1920 issues there are often 2 (or more) copies of each stamp, and we haven’t verified if that is for different perforations, cancels (and there are a number of readable cancels), etc. A few revenue cancels are noted among the earlier. A previous owner had catalogued this lot at $3036.00, but we don’t know when or which catalogue was used. A solid deal at our estimated value. Estimate =
