Scarce mint 1d orange-vermillion perforated 13 with the "Star" watermark 6 from 1863. As with most stamps of this era, the stamp has been hinged repeatedly and there is little original gum left. There are a couple of blunted perforations in the lower right corner and a minor crease in the upper right margin.
