Specialized collection of the 1c green and brown numeral issue of 1874 showing shades, mint and used examples and clean cancels, all laid out on a quadrilled page that is easy to follow. A bit of duplication (most of the used stamps have a second example as well as the rose-lilac #5a mint). Includes one more shade than listed in Scott and a single used example of the "inverted frame".
