A wealth of small towns here, which include Prespatou, Bamfield, Phillips Arm, Portage Mountain, Semiahmoo, Smithers, Germansen Landing, Flagstone, Lejac, Horseshoe Bay, Hendrix Lake, Red Lake, Cracroft, Beaver Falls, 70 Mile House, Noralee, North Surrey, Koksilah, Lagoon, Eagle Creek, Kitimat, Pine Valley, Belmont Park, Muskwa and Minto Mine. Quality of strikes is excellent, with MANY closed Post Offices in the group. Of particular note is the 70 Mile House 1955 cover, which has the notation on the back "Remains of 70 Mile House still smouldering when this was posted, P.O. open 2 hours daily, if PM could be located".
