The seldom seen original 1962 Hardcover Limited Edition, published by the Royal Philatelic Society, #124 of 350 copies, 223 pages with colour frontispiece and black and white photographic plates. In fair condition, with some slight bumping along the edges (not bad for a 63 year old book!). A wealth of information inside here, including printing process, the stamps, the forgeries, the proofs and postal rates / usages (among others). Of interest (but not totally relevant), is that there is only one 1962 version listed on Amazon, at over $1600.00! This book includes the original auction card from when the original owner purchased it in 1988 (for $176.00). Estimate =
