Medicine / Perfume / Sewing Advertising Cards. An unusual offering of 53x 1870's / 1880's Medicine advertising cards, neatly arranged on pages from a collection not touched in decades. Most are American, but we did note a couple Canadian examples (or at least from distributers in Canada). Some of the notable companies / adverts are for Carter's Little Liver Pills, Hanson's Magic Corn Salve, Carter's Backache Plasters, Rose's Pharmacy Perfumes (Toronto), Wistar's Balsam, Barry's Tricopherous, Domestic Sewing Machine Company, Burdock Blook Bitters, Ayer's Sarsaparilla etc (to name a few). All seem to be mounted with old hinges, which easily pop the cards off the pages, and can likely be worked off the card with a bit of patience. Great topical value here. Estimate =
