A specialist’s dream! Two pages of Australian ‘Roos and King George V "Heads" overprinted for use in New Guinea (now Nauru). Mostly mint, as you may expect, with a few used. Somewhat sorted by watermark, but not different printings, with 5 strips of three. Lots of plate varieties on these stamps, lots of overprint varieties and numerous shades are obvious. We have counted them as the cheapest of the type, with up to 25 of a type. The hinging tends to be heavy, but the appearance is great. Conservative 2023 Scott US$989.50 =
