Group of 257 "modern" late 1970's to early 1990's oversize registered covers, all addressed to "The Medical Council of Canada" in Ottawa" from primarily Western Canada (strength in Alberta). The "hidden in plain sight" value here is the tremendous amount of diverse registered letter rates, using a wide range of definitive and commemorative issues of the period (of note, Mammals, Artifacts and "dollar values"). Along with the tremendous amount of different rates and stamp combinations is a wealth of period "hand cancel" postmarks with many small towns, but also "hub" Sub Offices (many of these were only open for short periods).
