Mid-Elizabethan collection of Alberta registered covers in five homemade "folios". About 350 covers all addressed to the Alberta Health Care administration, mostly 1974-1985, covering different rates (including for overweight envelopes). Sorted by post offices with "G" to "Y" towns (including a number of Lethbridge and Medicine Hat sub offices), plus Calgary subs 63 to 148 and Edmonton main post office, plus a few Stations and Sub-Offices. Besides the interesting rates, there is a host of short-lived and certainly obsolete hand cancels, registered markings, etc. Presumably a number of these post offices are also gone or changed status. The only downside to this lot is that part of making these albums involved taping the covers in. Most will remove with minimal damage, but it will slow down the process.
