A "much better than usually seen" used collection of earlier DDR sets and singles in a 32-page stockbook, with issues from 1948-1967. Highlights include a complete run of the issues in the first few years (with the "Academy of Science" set, a very nice "Chairman Mao" trio, a complete set of the 1953 "Portraits", most with the upper corner sheet margins), the "Stamp on Stamp" issues semi-postals. The condition is generally good, missing only the souvenir sheets and the occasional stamp here and there. Estimate =
