Navy Covers Part A: Four volume naval post office cancels on cover, mounted on pages and in page protectors. Created by a collector in Edmonton in 1968, who wrote every US naval ship that he thought might have a post office and created self-addressed envelopes. The return rate was quite high, and these covers have a combination of ship name, number and sometimes a rubber stamp or embossed cachet. Total of about 754 covers, most with two examples per ship (so over 350 different ships are here). A labour of love, with significant effort to assemble this. Estimate =
