"Calling All Classic Collectors!" Duo of old-time albums that will be music to the ears of any collector of early worldwide material. A mix of both mint and used material, neatly arranged (and easily removeable) from almost entirely the pre-1900 period. The first album is an "Oppen's Postage Stamp Album" circa 1885, with 901 stamps spanning the globe, in which we we noted particular strength in Canada, British Commonwealth and South America (note, there is a wonderful looking page of Brazil "Bull's Eye" stamps, but likely early forgeries). The second album is a Scott "International Postage Stamp Album, Nineteenth Century" with 1391 stamps, again with strength in British Commonwealth and South America. While the odd small fault is to be expected, the vast majority of the stamps held within these albums look to be sound, choice examples. Some countries are vacant, perhaps removed decades ago to start the original collector's individual country collections. Offered as received, an excellent opportunity for the "classics" collector.
