Mint, used and First Day Cover collection of 1977 to 1981 period issues, all laid out on various types of hingeless Lighthouse brand album pages and stockpages, all packed into a bulging Lighthouse binder. Saw face values to $1.25. While the layout is a bit haphazard, this lot offers a wealth of variety from the period covered, as the collector wanted to represent each issue in as many ways as possible. The mint portion of the lot consists of 1,222 stamps (mostly in plate blocks, mainly matched sets), 1 souvenir sheet and 7 miniature panes. The used material consists of 1,094 stamps and 14 souvenir sheets and one miniature pane. There is also a parallel selection of FDCs plus other sundry bits and pieces. The lot has been valued for the mint face value contained in the collection only, but is worth considerably more due to the other useful material also in the collection which will have a substantial catalogue value.
