Sound, fresh and F/VF used example of the 35c issue 1921 Halifax airmail with the "1" of 1921 under the "f" of Halifax, tied to "ST. JOHNS/NFLD/NOV 22 1921" USA TRANS-BORDER airmail cover. Only 556 examples of this type setting were printed, making it the scarcest type except for the inverted overprint errors. Only a handful of this particular stamp have been recorded on cover and of these, most are addressed to domestic destinations.
