Specialized collection of stamps from the popular 1973 to 1976 (plus one 1977 issue) "Caricature and Landscape" series. The face values run from 1c to $1.00. The vast majority of the material consists of either mint NH matched sets of inscription blocks or Canada Post cacheted FDCs (also mostly plate blocks). There are 140 plate blocks, 20 FDCs, 320 precancels (in part sheets with warning strips) in total. In addition there is a mounted and annotated 15 page section of varieties from this series including listed and unlisted booklet, coil, precancel, printing and tagging oddities. A great lot for the student or soon to be student of this rewarding collecting area.
