Fault-free, fresh and F/VF "Sock on the Nose" CDS used example of the $3.00 yellow bistre high value 1897 Jubilee issue. Perfectly legible "OTTAWA SP 11 '07 CANADA" dated cancel. This particular stamp was probably affixed in a postal receipt book, used to record and pay for large bulk mailings. Ottawa is a much scarcer CDS than the more often seen Toronto or Winnipeg cancels. 2018 Scott US$1,100.00=
