QEII and WWI Themed Collections. Eclectic but intriguing lot, consisting of a 1978 QEII Silver Jubilee prepared collection of cacheted commemorative covers (Westminster Collectors Society), all housed in a special album. Of more serious collector interest and value is a collection of over 100 covers and cards plus stamps and ephemera relating to the First World War. Saw censored Field Post covers and cards, copies of the records of several of letter writers, modern Canada Post WWI commemorative envelopes and mint stamps. Note that proceeds of this lot will be donated by the consignor to the Oak Bay Kiwanis club. Estimate
