DRAMATIC INKING ERROR. VF mint NH lower sheet margin pair of the 3c dark carmine KGVI War Issue with a fabulous "Missing ink" EFO printing error, where (most likely) there was a foreign object that interfered with the transfer of ink onto the plate. Under magnification there is no scraping or disturbance of the paper on the front nor on the gum on the reverse, and the embossing on the gum side from the dry printing method is simply absent where the design is interrupted. An eye-catching pair which could make for a unique centerpiece in an EFO exhibit. Estimate
