Great Britain

If the UK is your cup of tea, this lot will have something for you (and almost everyone). Comprising of the classics (Victoria and Edward) with a page of Jubilees and similar issues, often with excellent cancels, including "Natal" and "S.Africa FPO" postmarks from usage in South Africa during the Boer War, plus one of the most attractive CDS cancels we have ever seen on a Seahorse! Next up is a page of perfins from the same era, including values to 5/-, followed by "Cinderellas" including WWII Royal Navy and "Tanks of the Allies" in partial panes in two different colours and 800 "CTO" (cancelled-to-order) copies of a 5/- "Isle of Stoma" and 5/- "Foxhounds" souvenir sheets. Also included is an envelope containing several ounces of QV-GeoV revenues (mostly Inland Duty or Foreign, with denominations to £1) and a folder with several mint GeoVI stationery air letters, including 2 POW forms. The more modern includes a handful of presentation packs from the 1970’s and some "new issue" dealer glassines circa 2003 from GB, Jersey and Isle of Man. This lot represents the balance of a consignment, with hours of exploration here for the intrepid sorter! Estimate =
