Printing ERROR Sheet. Complete pane of 50 copies of the 1939 issue 20d King George I & Queen Victoria union of the Ionian Islands. There is only one impression on each stamp, which looks to be an offset on what would have been the gummed side (faint and reversed image). Includes the Plate 1B and the plate inscription. The pane is in excellent condition and no gum appears to have been applied at any time. There are a number of printing varieties listed for this period, not listed in Scott, but covered in specialized Greek catalogues. A regular pane of 50 stamps would catalogue US$850.00 by 2023 Scott.
