Train topical lot #1. Trains, trains, trains! An enormous grouping of "new issue" purchases from the late 1990’s, bought by a train topical collector, and then left untouched. This offering from 1996-1997 has a mix of sets/singles (75 sets), miniature and souvenir sheets (over 90), four booklets and even four sets of postal stationery or Post Office issued postcards. Probably 40 countries represented, with almost no duplication. You will find that the definition of "train" is slightly broad, ranging from steam to diesel and even Christmas toy trains. Also, to note that only one stamp may depict a train when offered in a set. Sometimes the depiction is as subtle as in the selvedge of a souvenir sheet. Expect condition to be excellent, except in a couple of cases, where there were minor bends acquired during shipping. Each lot originally cost the collector over US$500.00.
