Train topical lot #2 Choo! Choo! Part 2 of our enormous offering of "new issue" purchases from the late 1990’s, bought by a train topical collector, and then left untouched. This offering from 1997-early 1998 (most of the issues were within two years of this), has a mix of sets/singles (42 sets), miniature and souvenir sheets (over 50) and two complete booklets. Probably 40 countries represented (for example, one envelope had Belgium, Egypt, India, Niger, Mongolia, Benin, Japan, Antigua, Alderney, and South Africa), with almost no duplication. You will find the definition of "train" is slightly broad, ranging from steam to diesel. Also, to note that only one stamp may depict a train when offered in a set. Sometimes the depiction is as subtle as in the selvedge of a souvenir sheet. A few are matching sets with a souvenir sheet. Expect condition to be excellent, mint, never Hinged, except in a couple of cases, where there were minor bends acquired during shipping. Each lot originally cost the collector over US$500.00.
