Collection balance in a 1962 Stender album, being a very complete grouping of 1893-1968 issues. The earlier material is mostly used, transitioning to mint (Hinged) issues later on. Includes a good run of the "Posthorn" issue with serifed letters, some nice King Haakon VII and the Admundsen Polar Bear issue complete used. There is also a good range of overprints, including on the postage due issue, "V" issues and a mint set of the Norwex overprints of 1955. Good coverage of definitive issues, with some duplication for shade studies. Finally, located at the back of the album is a Spitzenberg local post set of three featuring Polar Bear (circa 1900). Expect a bit of mixed condition, but the overall appearance is excellent. 2023 Scott US$1335.83 =
