Lovely, mounted collection which stretches from the 1935 Silver Jubilee common design issue up to the formation of Sri Lanka in 1972. Very complete, very clean, in a pleasing mix of mint and used. Includes occasional better "sub catalogue" numbers (#264a,265a) and a bit of duplication (includes two mint copies of #328, one Hinged, one Never Hinged). Bonus: Many of the more common issues have often been selected for nice CDS cancels (this section catalogues $563.15). There is also section of several mostly mint blocks (sometimes large) and strips of issues back to Queen Victoria and War Tax (including revalues), these catalogue US$349.65.
