New Imperial Album Part #1, with pages up to 1936 covering GB and Antigua to Malta. A lovely collection of classic issues, both mint and used. Starts with an attractive grouping of about 130 British issues up to about 5/- and a nice offering of overprints for use in the Levant. The Australia has "Roos" up to 2/-, the Bermuda is promising (with a 10/- GeoV Keyplate with a revenue cancel). Canada has lots of classics, including "Cents", Jubilees, Quebec, GeoV high values, but condition in this section is a bit "hit or miss". We noted some decent coverage from Ceylon, attractive Gibraltar GeoV high-values and some attractive Gold Coast issues. Grenada has lots of attractive issues including a nice used copy of #123 (5/- GeoV ship high-value). Hong Kong has some attractive "earlies", the India and States section is well represented and we even noticed Ionian Islands #1. Lots of $5-$40 stamps everywhere. Many of the cheaper issues have often been selected for their cancel. There can be condition issues, such as trimmed perforations or thins found here and there, but that is to be expected in a collection of this era. Just over 2000 stamps. Album in decent condition.
