Sound and fresh mint Hinged/Never Hinged strips of four of the 3c carmine 1935 issue GeoV coil, each strip with an evident (but Unitrade unlisted) variety. One strip has a "missing perf pin" in between the middle stamps at the top. The other strip has a horizontal scratch running through the left part of the design of stamp #3 in the strip and a badly damaged "N" in "CENTS" on stamp #2 in the strip. Both plate flaws are probably related to damage that occurred at the same time. This second variety is at least as rare as the Unitrade listed "damaged 2" (#229ii) on the 2c coil. Estimate =
