Volume 13 Asia. A very mixed bag of Asia, which starts with the ever-popular early China Republic issues, with better stamps mixed throughout (with overprint and cancellation interest as well). There is a touch of Taiwanese issues to be found, but no PRC. There is decent coverage of Indonesia 1950’s-1960’s issues, but the best is Japan from the late 19th century and includes a "tourist folder" followed by coverage into the early 1970’s, supplemented with a few covers and some "Cinderella" issues. There is light coverage of Korea, Laos, Maldives Islands and Manchukuo, but the collection gains steam again with Nepal and the Philippines, finishing with a fair bit of material from Thailand and Vietnam. The Scott International album has been reinforced with cloth tape, but is functional. Estimate =
