American Helvetia Philatelic Society "not your usual" retired circuit book, with pricing from Zumstein 1995(!). Includes about 133 stamps from the seated Helvetia up to about 1950 with a range of types, printings, shades, cancels. Better include a couple of mid-values of the Pax set, some used Pro-Juventute semi-postals and a terrific group of used early airmail stamps. We noticed that after 30 years, the Zumstein catalogue prices are an uncannily close match to 2023 Scott (e.g. 40 SFr = $40.00). There is a bit more variation in the back of the book, but it indicates that there is over US$1000.00 basic Scott catalogue value here. To sweeten the pot, there is a card of more common mint airmail issues and a fascinating grab bag of loose used Swiss stamps completely unchecked. Estimate =
