Lifetime collection of Mabel Lucie Attwell "artist signed" postcards. An astounding offering of 173 postcards, arranged within an album, all featuring the artwork of renowned artist Mable Attwell (a very distinct style). Attwell (1879-1964) was a British illustrator who created a large amount of illustrations featuring cute nostalgic views of children (based on her daughter Peggy). About half of the postcards are used, from the 1920's to 1950's era, which shows the long-lasting appeal of her illustrations.
