Lower-left, sheet-margin block of 18 of the 2d QV Chalon Head, 1906 "Hausburg Reprint" on card, printed from the original plate. In 1906, L.R. Hausburg travelled to New Zealand and on behalf of The Royal Philatelic Society, reprinted sheets of NZ Chalons for use in plating the stamps for a philatelic book to be published. In the end, the book was never published these official reprints started to show up on the philatelic market. Larger multiples are tougher to find (as many were cut into singles / pairs / blocks of four). Note what seems to be an under-inking is consistent throughout the lower left corners, perhaps from a warping of the original plate. Estimate =
