Abu Dhabi #1-11, 15-25. Complete mint Never Hinged examples of the first set, issued in 1964, plus the same set surcharged, issued in 1966. Two pristine condition sets from this Persian Gulf nation that proclaimed independence in 1971 (now part of UAE). Only 83 stamps in total were issued under Abu Dhabi proper. 2024 Scott US$367.50 = $496.15
History

2
Andorra #23/63, 64. F/VF mint Hinged / Hinge-Remnant group of 42 values (plus the OVPT) of the 1932-1943 Pictorial series. A few faults noted, mostly being gum irregularities and one small thin on the 40c brown value. That being said, this is a great head-start on a tough set to assemble, with the stamps being issued over a 11 year period. 2023 Scott US$621.30 = $838.75
History

3
Australia #95a. Fresh mint Never Hinged condition pane of 4 of the 3p deep blue Kookaburra issued at the Melbourne International Philatelic Exhibition in 1928. Full intact margins and perforations all around with a wide straight-edged selvedge at bottom. 2021 Scott US$260.00 = $351.00

Australia - Collection / Stock / Hoard in 3 stockbooks. A collector's assembly of both mint and used, from "Roos" to the early 2000's arranged within 2x 32-page stockbooks (Lighthouse and Unisafe), plus a 3rd smaller size 16-page stockbook. Many thousands of stamps, including better items lurking throughout. Very conservatively valued for the usable mint postage only. Total face value AUD$395.62 in CDN funds = $350.25
History

6
Australia - Dealer's stock of mint material, GeoVI to QEII arranged on stockpages. Roughly 750 stamps, with a mix of both Hinged and Never Hinged material (more Hinged in the "older", Never Hinged in the "newer"). The consignor's conservative catalogue value is US$450.00 by Scott catalogue. Estimate = $120.00
History

7
Australia - Duo of Davo albums with matching slipcases, includes decimal-era pages covering 1966 to 1993, including Australian Antarctic Territory (but almost no AAT stamps). The first album has a couple hundred used stamps and the second album starts in 1984 and has a good run of mint stamps in owner-added black mounts (mounts being hinged in, so could be removed). The face value of the mint alone is AUD$121.05 = CDN$107.73. The albums have Australian coat of arms on the cover and "II" and "III" on the spine. We should note that the albums are in near new condition and would originally retail for almost $400.00. Estimate = $180.00
History

8
Australia - Multi-part estate remainder lot in a file box. Starts with a 1979-series Stanley Gibbons padded album with pages to 1986, including a number of "Roos" and GeoV "Heads" followed by a few hundred stamps up until the mid-1970’s. At some distant point, this collection was catalogued at US$958.00 (which is probably high by today’s standards). Next is a pair of boxes, filled with mostly 1970’s used packet stock, but also saw a couple dozen bundles of KGV "Heads". There is a collection of seven 1988 Bicentennial booklets in slipcase, six manila stockpages crammed with decimal-era "State" revenue stamps, a bag with a few complete booklets back to the 1960’s and a couple of presentation packs (including Christmas 1971). Finally, there are three retired RPSC approval booklets (with some early, and some Cocos Islands), with about $125.00 retail remaining (based on 2012 Scott). Great research potential. Estimate = $180.00
History

9
Australia - Respectfully sized hoard of new issues from 1980-2008, most in their original Post Office packaging or presentation cards. Includes 1981, 1993 and 2008 year-sets (with a bit of minor cover damage, but the stamps are in great shape). Overall condition is excellent, but a few of the packages or sleeves have minor damage or writing on them. Total face value of the Australian issues is AUD$293.47, plus there is an additional face value of AUD$22.30 from Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands, which are valid for postage in Australia. Conservatively valued for the total face value of the usable postage only. Total face value AUD$315.77 = $281.04
History

10
Australia - Specialty offering of 213 used, from early issues up to 1940, includes 93 with "SON" (socked on the nose) CDS postmarks, 20 "OS" perfins, 28 State "OS" perfins, 31 State "SON" CDS cancels, and 41 State numeral cancels. Some better items ID'ed on the scans, but there may be other hidden goodies throughout. A few small faults noted, but an enticing offering. Estimate = $150.00
History

11
Australian States - Mounted assortment on 22-ring Lindner quadrilled pages. Strongest is New South Wales, with some Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania. Mostly used, with the usual mixed condition from this era. Some better stamps and better cancels, with items that are already identified by Scott to make it easier to process. This was catalogued some time ago, but a quick check indicates that the numbers are still representative of current pricing. Owner’s total Scott catalogue (year unknown) US$666.70 = $900.06
History

12
Austria #3/2052 plus Back of the Book. Three-part collection builder. Starts with an over-height springback album, with a wide range of mostly pre-1920 issues. Moves to a pair of approval booklets that were in the process of being prepared, but never finished (mostly 1950-1990). Finally, there is a 64-page unbranded stockbook with white pages and a light blue cover, with thousands of stamps (the regular issues are a bit sparse pre-1950). Includes a number of blocks, sheetlets or souvenir sheets postally used, up to 2006, along with a range of newer mint souvenir sheets. Lots of back of the book and cancel potential throughout. Estimate = $150.00

History

15
Bahamas #306a/902, B3. A mostly mint, hodgepodge of modern Bahamas, including 177 stamps and 54 souvenir sheets issued between 1970-1998, on a mix of White Ace, quadrilled and Vario-brand stockpages. Pages are not complete, nor consecutive, so this is good for filling in holes or to build a stock. By the time the 1980’s rolled around, collectors backed off purchasing "new issues", at the same time print quantities dropped and issues became more topically focused. This has subsequently led to demand for a very small stock, and prices have risen accordingly. Topical interests include birds, shells, Christmas, Royalty, Sealife, ships, planes, etc. The mint appears to be all never hinged. 2023 Scott US$749.05 = $1,011.22
History

16
Belgium #60-75. Complete mint Lightly Hinged (perhaps some NH) set of the 1893-1900 "Coat of Arms" / "King Leopold" issue. Most stamps are Very Lightly Hinged, with a few likely Never Hinged (but with a couple natural gum bends, so conservatively valued as Hinged). The Scott catalogue offers huge premiums for any NH material, or well-centered examples, so there is plenty of upside for this lot valued at the lowest possible catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$610.40 = $824.05
History

17
Belgium #B179 Variety. Mint Never Hinged 1936 issue 2.45fr+55c grey blue "Charleroi" semi-postal souvenir sheet. Without the cancellation-like postmark in the margin that are on most sheets. Light bend in margin noted for the record. Valued as the more common regular "postmarked" sheet but worth a premium. 2024 Scott US$175.00 = $236.25

Australia - Respectfully sized hoard of new issues from 1980-2008, most in their original Post Office packaging or presentation cards. Includes 1981, 1993 and 2008 year-sets (with a bit of minor cover damage, but the stamps are in great shape). Total face value of the Australian issues is AUD$293.47, plus there is an additional face value of AUD$22.30 from Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands, which are valid for postage in Australia. Conservatively valued for the total face value of the usable postage only. Total face value AUD$315.77 =

Owner’s total Scott catalogue (year unknown) US$666.70 =

2023 Scott US$749.05 =

2023 Scott US$610.40 =
