There is a small group of loose album pages and circuit pages with some potential (including Hong Kong). Not to be overlooked is a binder with a mounted used collection from a number of British Pacific colonies, the best being from Papua (and New Guinea) and Pitcairn. Estimate = $180.00

British Guiana and Guyana #22/298, J1/J4. Attractive classic-era collection, plus a few "post-colonial" issues with an array of perforated "Seal of the Colony" issues (lots of "A03" cancels) of various forms to the early 20th century, including overprints - calling all "ships on stamps" topical collectors. Noted a range from the 1898 Jubilee set and better singles with catalogue values to $80.00 such as #22, 44, 69, 71, 200, 241, #J4. Some minor faults are to be expected. Estimate = $180.00

Canada #4/20. Small group of "Pence/Cents" with an imperforate 3-penny beaver with a socked on the nose target cancel. The 1c #14 comes with both Scott-listed shades and 4 examples of the 5c Beaver. One of the 10c Prince Albert issues is damaged (and not counted). Both shades of the green 12-1/2c are present as is the 17c Cartier and the 2c Queen Victoria. Other than the one faulty stamp mentioned, the balance seem to be in reasonable condition, although a few could benefit from a re-soaking. 2024 Scott US$1590.00 = $2,146.50
History

61
Canada #5. Fine appearing used example of the 1855 issue 6p slate grey "Prince Albert" imperforate on wove paper, with tidy "21" 4-ring postmark (Montreal). Some attractive individual stamps here, including a well centered 5c olive green (with cork cancel). A couple of small perf faults and the 12 ½c has a minor thin (so not counted in the catalogue value). All catalogued as the cheapest listing for each stamp, so there will be some upside (including the 1875 issued 15c blue grey). 2025 Scott US$1210.00 = $1,633.50
History

Bermuda #94, 97. A used duo from the second watermark of the King George V "Keyplate" issues. The 2/- and the 12/6 denominations both have partial "Hamilton" circular date stamps. Well centered and with good perforations, these are worthy of all British America collections. 2024 Scott US$512.50 =

Lot#

Bermuda #94-97. All four of the King George V "Keyplate" issues from the second watermark (block "CA") released between 1924-1932. Stunning appearance with fresh colours, nice centering and great perforations. The stamps are all hinged, with the 2/6 having a single tone spot on the back and the 10/- with a bit of offset that someone has tried to erase, disturbing the gum. There are shades listed in both Scott and Stanley Gibbons, but we are valuing them at the cheapest version in Scott, so plenty of upside here. 2024 Scott US$590.00 =

Bermuda #95a. Choice used example of the key "pale orange vermillion and black" King George V shade of the 2/6 "Keyplate" on fray blue paper with the block "CA" watermark. A beautiful used example with a socked on the nose cancel (the "Bermuda" is easily readable, the "Hamilton" is very light). The orange colour gives it almost an iridescent appearance. A beautiful stamp. 2024 Scott US$3,250.00 =

Bermuda #114/217. Astonishing, yet decrepit, thick mint sheet file with a holding of mint multiples from blocks up to complete panes of an assortment of issues from 1936-1967, with a range of definitives, commemoratives (saw a few Common Design issues) and overprints. Includes some plates or inscriptions and better such as #121D pane of 60 (catalogues $300.00) and #154 (half pane of 30, catalogues $217.50). They have been in this book since being purchased as new issues. There is the occasional minor selvage fault and there is a bit of minor toning here and there, but some are show pieces, and there is huge value here. Estimate =

Bermuda #123/128. A sextet of mint blocks of the King George VI "Keyplate" design, including three that are cylinder blocks. The 2/- includes the "broken lower right scroll" Stanley Gibbons 116ce, catalogues £225.00 (but the block has a bit of flaking, so we have catalogued it as ordinary stamps by Scott). The 2/-, 2/6 and 12/6 blocks are perf 14, the rest are perf 13. Overall fresh, well centered and most are never hinged. The 12/6 has significant acidification of the gum (normal for this printing), and a corner crease in the selvage. Spice up your album with these beauties. Total 2024 Scott US$1019.00 =

Bosnia #30c/45f. A selection of 14 different mint hinged values from the 1906 "Scenic" with compound perforations. These sheets had perforators of wildly different gauges dividing up the sheet, creating stamps (in this case) with sides with 2 different perforations. Ten of these values have perforation 12-1/2 and 9-1/4 on varying sides (series "c" in Scott Classic) and four are from series "f" with different perforations of 9-1/4 and 6-1/2. Stamps are fresh and reasonably centered, with hinging from light to hinge remnants. A few of the perforations are blunt, as is normally seen with these issues. Total 2021 Scott Classic US$516.50 =

*On our great bidboard page you will notice that we have included a declining clock that displays the time remaining in the sale, subject to the addition of overtime. There is an automatic 3 minute bidding extension if a bid is submitted on any lot within the last 3 minutes on the bidding clock. These time extensions will continue to occur until there is a 3 minute period during which no bidding takes place. We expect overtime with this type of bidding will last two to three hours in extra bidding time. This extra time will allow you to make sure you get the lots you really want to get right away.
