A couple small faults in the earlier material (hinged in margin / 50c Munitions with light gum-bend), but overall a very clean offering. Face value alone is $308.28. Owner's older 2016 Unitrade = $1,047.40

Canada #243. Trio of different VF mint Never Hinged 20c "Fort Garry Gate, Winnipeg" plate blocks from the 1938 Pictorial issue. Different by either position or plate number, this lot includes Plate #1 (UR) and Plate #2 (UR, LR). A great start to completing a set of these, which can be quite the challenge to find both VF and Never Hinged. 2024 Unitrade = $735.00
History

105
Canada #246/306, C7. Four Mint Sheet-Files, filled with an old-time holding of mid/late George VI era mint never hinged sheets / multiples. Ranging from the 1939 Royal Visit to the early 1950's "Prime Ministers", this holding came right from the family of the collector that put these aside at the time of issue. While there are not any individual high-values, large holdings of these issues don't come around often! Valued as single NH stamps, with no premiums for the sheets, multiples and Plate Blocks (which there are many). Includes both regular sheet issues, but also coil strips (and even a couple of Newfoundland multiples). Take a look at the inventory sheets (4 in total) done for each sheet-folder, with the reads as total stamps, catalogue number, Scott catalogue value. 2024 Scott US$3360.20 ($4536.25 CDN). Estimate = $500.00

Post Office fresh F/VF (mostly VF) lightly duplicated group of plate blocks of the 1946 Peace Issue (10c Great Bear Lake, 14c Hydroelectric Station and 20c Combine Harvester values). A total of 18 blocks, valued as Fine (#269x 5, #270x 0, #271x 1) and VF (#269x4, #270x 4, #271x 4). A nice clean offering of these sough-after Post WWII plate blocks. 2024 Unitrade = $519.50

Canada #282. VF mint Never Hinged "stack" of 20 complete mint Never Hinged sheets (each one with a single corner inscription) of the 1949 "Newfoundland / Cabot Ship" issue, with the original Post Office Department (Financial Branch / Philatelic Division) receipt dated April 30th 1949 in the amount of $40.00 and signed by the Director of Financial Services. A very uncommon sight to see $40.00 invested by a single collector on one issue in 1949, but to have it with the original Post Office receipt is a first for us! Catalogued as 20 plate blocks and 920 singles…but should be worth more! 2024 Unitrade = $306.00
History

108
Canada #282. VF mint Never Hinged 1949 "Newfoundland / Cabot Ship" issue, group of 8 complete panes / sheets, making for the FULL LAYOUT off Plate #1 and Plate #2 in full printing format of 200 stamps. Originally printed in sheets of 200 stamps, these were then cut into panes of 50 stamps, with single inscription corners UL, LL, UR, LR per pane before being issued to the Post Office / Philatelic Order Department for sale to the public. Seldom do we see the full layout, especially for both Plate Numbers of the issue. A couple with staple holes / pencil marks in selvedge (as often found with sheets acquired from the Post Office at the time). Extremely hard to recreate. While these only catalogue $122.40 (as plate blocks, single stamps), this full-format offering should demand a hefty premium! Estimate = $140.00

Canada #656, 657. VF mint Never Hinged matched-sets of plate blocks of the 1975 issued $1.00 "Sprinter" and $2.00 "Plunger" from the Olympic Sculpture series. This series was the one of the most "speculated" Canadian issues, being billed as investment material during the 1970's and 1980's. 2024 Unitrade = $180.00
History

112
Canada #715vii. VF mint Never Hinged example of the 1978 issue 14c red Parliament definitive, strong and full reverse offset on gum. Scarcer than the catalogue would indicate and we haven't handed one since 2010! 2024 Unitrade = $200.00

113
Canada #727a. VF mint NH upper-right margin example of the 1979 issue $2.00 Kluane with the missing silver inscriptions error. Only 500-600 examples of this error exist, with a corner single being a clear premium item among the available errors. Comes with the original Kasimir Bileski write-up, from when purchased from him in the 1980's for $300.00! Unitrade value is low, considering how infrequent we see these. 2024 Unitrade = $400.00
History

114
Canada #806a. VF mint Never Hinged imperforate pair of the 1979 issue 17c green Parliament coil, with two regular perforated stamps on left, then the imperforate pair on right. An eye-catching and obtainable QEII error. 2024 Unitrade = $200.00
History

Canada #1431a. Substantial investment/dealer lot of 12 x VF mint NH 1992 issue Canada Day se-tenant panes of 12 x 42c stamps (plus 13 labels). The total face value of the sheets is $60.48 but these usually wholesale for considerably higher than face value. A very clean lot. 2024 Unitrade = $300.00
History

117
Canada #1534ii, 1535ii. The rare and unissued 52c and 90c value 1994 Xmas proposed and rejected rate changes, both VF Mint Never Hinged. Fewer than 1,000 examples of the 90c stamp exist. The Post Office intended to increase the postal rates from 50c and 88c but changed their minds at the last minute. Somehow a few of these stamps made it onto the market. Oops! A famous modern "administrative" error. Comes with the regularly issued stamps for comparison. 2024 Unitrade = $800.00
History

118
Canada #2045i-2048i. Complete set of 2004 "Write Me, Ring Me" issues consisting of four different special cards, each containing a souvenir sheet of 2 stamps and a phone card good for 15 minutes. There were only slightly more than 10,000 complete sets of these folders issued in total. Many of the "butterfly" (impossible to find) and "dog" (almost as hard to find) thematics have since been gobbled up by the topical market. These sets have and will increase greatly in price in the next few years. All still sealed in the original Canada Post packaging. 2024 Unitrade = $200.00

Canada #2586. Complete Canada Post thank you "kit" consisting of a small presentation box containing two VF condition intact mint examples of the limited-edition booklet of 12 of the permanent "THANKS/MERCI!" Truck and Rainbow design Picture Postage stamp, issued on November 30th 2020, ONLY TO CANADA POST EMPLOYEES, plus a thank you card and matching rainbow pin. The booklets are very elusive. While recognized and reviewed in numerous philatelic journals, Unitrade has yet to create an individual listing for this stamp, so we have used the Unitrade catalogue number for the frame design as our stamp reference. Two booklets are perfect for display purposes (front and back). Estimate = $100.00

Canada #2844. Rare VF MNH complete souvenir sheet of 5 of the quickly recalled 2015 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Canada showing an image of "Hoodoos" instead of Dinosaur Provincial Park, Alberta on the first $1.20 stamp. This sheet is proving to be far more elusive than the booklet. A particularly difficult issue to find and key item from the last decade of Queen Elizabeth's reign. 2024 Unitrade = $275.00
History

121
Canada #2877i. VF MNH Bernie Parent AUTOGRAPHED "hockey card" format S/S from the 2015 NHL "Great Canadian Goalies" issue. Has the silver foil holographic Canada Post sticker of authenticity. The italicized Unitrade value is a woeful attempt at pricing (2024 Unitrade is $180.00), but these cards have proven very popular and commonly sell for well over catalogue value. Estimate = $200.00

Canada #B4-B12 SILVER REPLICAS. Group of three deluxe boxed sets featuring the 1976 Olympics semi-postals (B4-B12) all in .999 sterling silver. The silver melt value alone on these is $193.75!! Here is a chance to save these from being melted and enjoyed as a "value plus" item for your Canadian collection. Estimate = $250.00

These early self-adhesive / changeable image sets paved the way for the now common practice self-adhesive stamp, and now defunct "Picture Postage". Face value alone is 129.00. 2024 Unitrade = $390.00
History

124
Canada #BK182, BK183, BK200. Wholesale offering of 7x each of the 1995 "Quick Stick" Greeting Booklet, with 10x 45c stamps and 15 greeting stickers per booklet (which sold at the Post Office for a premium over the face value). The standard issue booklet came in "JAC" and "Coated" paper, which can be distinguished by the Ashton-Potter printing on the panes, but this also issued with "Chiropractic Canada" labels (with a totally different booklet design). This lot contains 7 of each complete mint booklet. Face value alone is $94.50. 2024 Unitrade = $315.00
History

125
Canada #BK190. Wholesale offering of 15x complete mint 1996 "Quick Stick" Greeting Booklet, with 10x 45c stamps and 35 greeting stickers per booklet (which sold at the Post Office for a premium over the face value). A very popular issue for the time, which allowed customers to customize their stamps, which became even more popular through the "picture postage" series. Face value alone is $67.50. 2024 Unitrade = $300.00
History

126
Canada #BK236c. VF mint complete example of the 2000 Canadian Bank Note printed 47c "Flag and Inukshuk" booklet of 10 stamps, being the "no gum, cover printed on gum-side" variety. These elusive booklets were often found and discarded as the stamps were not actually sticky when pealed off, with the adhesive remaining on the booklet portion. They can also be distinguished by a subtle difference in florescence when compared to a regular booklet. 2024 Unitrade = $350.00

Canada #CL6, CL7. Duo of 1926 Jack V. Elliot Air Service, semi-official airmail covers, each bearing a stamp of the company (CL6, CL7), sent between Rolling Portage and Red Lake, Ontario. Nice to get these both at once, from the early days of Canadian semi-official airmail. 2024 Unitrade = $335.00
History

129
Canada #CL21bi. A faulty, but extremely scarce example of the Patricia Airways Exploration, 5c "RED LAKE" overprint type D, in violet, horizontal. Neatly used with Red Lake ONT (March 5th 1928) split ring "socked on the nose" cancel, but missing a small piece from the upper right corner. That being said, the owner states there are only 8 examples of this stamp know, all of which are used. Suffice to say, missing from almost all collections of semi-official airmail. 2024 Unitrade = $3,750.00

Canada - Charity "on and off" paper mix of several pounds filling a bankers box, collected for (and for the benefit of) The Land Conservancy of BC (TLC), from many different sources, including commercial and philatelic. Contains a good mix of commemoratives and definitives with some higher value parcel pieces, and stamps ranging from 1940 to about 2020, with strength in 1980-2015. We noted some higher denominated "Animals", a few "Picture Postage", potential for modern (mostly BC) hand cancels and lots of "P" denominated stamps. A bit of it was sorted by the contributors, otherwise offered as received. Estimate = $150.00
History

All neatly arranged in mounts (mint) or hinged / in mounts (used) within a deluxe padded Stanley Gibbons album. A wealth of better issues here, including high-value / "P" stamp souvenir sheets (most of the stamps from this era are "P" stamps). Canada #34 Cover. Choice single-franking example of the 1/2c black Small Queen on circular rate cover, posted locally from Halifax NS, May 21st 1883 to Moncton NB. A wonderful example of the single use of the 1/2c stamp, being a scarce dated example (as almost all these circular rates are undated, as Post Office regulations only required them to be cancelled only with a grid). An attractive addition to any postal history collection, or "plus-value" add-on to a traditional stamp collection. 2024 Unitrade =

Canada #34/703. Attractive mint collection of 721 stamps from the 1870-1976 period, neatly arranged within a Davo brand hingeless album. Ranging from Small Queens to 1976 Olympics, plus "Back of the Book", this offering represents a well above average collection of mint Canada, ready to be taken to the next level. A good showing of QV, Edward, George V, George VI and early Elizabethan, expect the mint to be hinged, before shifting into never hinged for the Elizabethan material. The "back of the book" is also well represented, including Airmail, Special Delivery, Postage Dues, Airmail Special Delivery and Officials. Owner's 2025 Scott US$7903.50 ($10,669.75 CDN). Estimate =

Canada #35 Variety. VG/Fine used example of the 1¢ small queen used with yellow "blob" above back of head, which effects "NAD" of "CANADA". Under magnification there is an accumulation of yellow ink at the back of the head, distinctively different when compared to a normal example (which accompanies). Quite impressive! We note that other "blob" varieties in Unitrade listed at $300.00 to $750.00 each. Does not appear tampered with, but estimated on the lower side and sold "as is" and as received by the consignor.
