Canada Covers -
FDC Holding. A mixed box of cacheted First Day Covers from 1960-1986, mostly unaddressed, with a range of both private and Canada Post cachets. Includes 25 "Schering" FDCs 1965-1971 on assorted sizes and franked covers (these are addressed). There is a dealer book with 1972-1974 private and Canada Post cachets, including multiple blocks of the 1972 Geological issue. Next is a small box with about 100 different Canada Post cachets (1974-1982) each with a single plate block (noted Olympic Architecture and National Parks issues to $2.00), that also has a group of covers single franked (1966-1974). There is a shoebox filled with many larger sized FDCs (as they are souvenir sheets) along with regular sized issues (1960-1986). Finally, the box is rounded out with Volume One of "The Story of Canada" with 20 covers issued 1982-1984 with their distinctive gold foil cachets, on presentation pages in specialty binder and slipcover (original cost over $200.00).
